One of the biggest setbacks you can encounter in Top Eleven is having your players injured. It’s a frequent occurrence in football, and while it’s impossible to completely avoid it, you are still able to do a few things to minimize chances of injury.
First off, make sure your players are in top form. Having a tired team train or play a match will only increase the chances of an injury. To avoid this, make sure to always keep in mind when your next match is due and whether your players will have the time to recover from training before it starts. If you feel uncertain, always remember that you can spend Rests to improve your players’ condition.
Same as with matches, never train your players when they are in bad shape. the worse their condition, the higher the chance an injury can occur. Even at full condition, setting team intensity high during training carries inherent risks. It’s a matter of whether you want to get skill points faster, but risking injuring your players, or taking it slow and steady, in order to minimize injury chances.
While you can do your best to lower these chances, it’s impossible to set them to zero, meaning that an injury is bound to happen sooner or later. This is why you need to be prepared with enough Treatments. You can get them as daily gifts from friends, by attending Live Matches in which your players show fair play, building First Aid facilities and buying them from the Club Shop. Your First Aid facilities have the added benefit of lowering injury chances as well.
Depending on the severity of the injury, you’ll need a different amount of Treatments to heal your player. One day injuries require 5 Treatments, two day injuries require 9 Treatments, three day require 12, four day require 14, and anything longer can be cured by 15 Treatments.
While good management relies on preventing complications, it also relies on being able to react in case complications do happen. Remember to always consider your actions and to know how to react when a player does get injured.
